In its 13th year, Volkswagen prize Supply Award recognized 16 suppliers in 11 categories in Brazil. GH Induçao was nominated by Volkswagen as one of the best ten out of the best suppliers in the category machine integrators in 2011.
The first time GH has been nominated by Volkswagen was in 2009. Volkswagen Group has been deploying GH Group equipment since 1993 with more than 350 units in America, Europe and Asia for door bonding application.
The Volkswagen Supply Award 2011 presented the theme “Challenges for competitive auto industry” and, last September 11th, were awarded suppliers who have excelled last year in quality, business excellence, service, facilities, logistics and sustainability.
The president of Volkswagen Brazil, Thomas Schmall, highlighted the importance of synergy with suppliers to achieve the company’s strategic objectives. “Having goals and work together to continuously improve the quality and sustainability are key to ensuring one of our highest values: the trust of our customers,” said Thomas Schmall.
The best of the best (Melhor dos Melhores), the big winner was Takata Brasil, voted the best supplier to Volkswagen in Brazil in 2011.
